Europharm Distributie, part of the Interbrands Marketing & Distribution group, is one of the most important local pharmaceutical distribution companies, with an activity of over 23 years on the Romanian market. The company has now around 500 employees, operates in 10 warehouses, distributes over 3500 products from more than 80 local and international suppliers and ensures delivery to over 4000 points of sales: pharmacies, drug stores, hospitals and warehouses. In 2016, Europharm Distributie reached a turnover of around EUR 200 millions.
The collaboration story between TotalSoft and Europharm Distributie started in 2004, with the purchase and implementation of a software solution dedicated to the pharma distribution business. The solution has successfully covered the company requirements for 8 years, and in 2012, it was replaced by the Charisma ERP system, provided by the same company.

By implementing Charisma ERP, Europharm Distributie intended to technologically update the software infrastructure, to extend the functionality, to achieve advanced analytics and reporting features, according to the requirements and business context, as well as to ensure the best management of the logistics operations, according to the market regulations.
Charisma ERP is the main application used by Europharm Distributie, an application that is the core of running the basic operations of the company – the sales process and the logistics operations. The company also uses other software solutions, but Charisma ERP is the system providing the information required to make the business more effective, to interact with the customers, to manage the online orders, B2B, SFA, WMS systems or delivery route management.
Via Charisma, Europharm Distributie is managing around 100,000 invoices, 100,000 receiving documents (receipts, payment orders, promissory notes, reception protocols) monthly. Charisma ensures the implementation of 9 types of special offers in the relationship with the customers, credit control process management with embedded approval workflow and a purchasing module dedicated to the trading relationship with the suppliers.
For becoming ready to be used, Charisma ERP went through a series of tests to demonstrate the ability to provide the requested results, under the same quality conditions, accurately, consistently and reproducibly, according to the preset specifications meeting the specific regulations in the Guide of Best Practices for Pharma Distribution.
