TotalSoft’s mid-year balance

TotalSoft, one of the leading regional software providers, announces the achievement of a turnover of 11.6 million euro for the first half of the year. 75% of the revenues were generated by projects developed on the Romanian market, while the rest came from abroad, especially from accounts generated by the company’s subsidiaries in Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia and Qatar. During this period, EBITDA amounted to 2.3 million euro, a nearly 40% increase over last year’s same period.
 
The Romanian market portfolio increased by nearly 100 customers. Out of these, 25 signed contracts for Charisma ERP, 27 chose Charisma HCM and payroll outsourcing services, 26 chose Primavera, while the rest opted for medical solutions and software development projects. Charisma Medical Software Division signed this year a series of major contracts, including Medlife, “Regina Maria” private health network, European EYE Centers, Muntenia Hospital, Personal Genetics and “Victor Babes” National Institute. Among the projects characterized by complexity and great financial value, the following can be distinguished: Romtelecom, UPS, Banvit Group, Niro Group, Radburg, ALRO Slatina, Prospecțiuni, H&M, AECOM Romania or Hervis Sports.
 
The first half of the year was marked by two international premiers: TotalSoft entered the African market by implementing Charisma at Carrefour Automobiles Dakar and signing a contract for project management consultancy with SATORP Saudi Arabia, a contract amounting to 4.2 million USD. The international expansion has also brought new projects in the markets where the company was already established, such as: Serbia (Procredit Leasing), Greece (Euroclinic, Avis, Bairamoglou, Eurodrip), Bulgaria (Kittner Anlagen-und Maschinenbau) or Qatar (Supreme Council of Information Technology).
 
Diversification of product portfolio was aimed at launching B2B applications on mobile devices (smart phones and PC tablets). Thus, the company launched five dedicated solutions: two for the medical field, one for the construction area, one for retail and distribution, as well as a financial indicators analysis system, which is suitable for any type of company. TotalSoft has recently launched Tasky, a daily activity planner, which can run on any type of smart phone or PC tablet that is compatible with iOS. For the products on mobile devices, the company uses both the iOS, developed by Apple and the Android system developed by Google.
 
In addition, 4 new software solutions have been added to Charisma suite. In March, the company launched Charisma Registration Desk – a software solution aimed at streamlining the registration activities. Later, Charisma WMS 2011 was launched - an extremely powerful solution aimed at streamlining warehouse activities, deposits or distribution centers. The product’s new features widen its addressability in retail, manufacturing and construction areas.
 
Charisma Facility Management and Charisma Utility Expense Management allowed TotalSoft to enter the CAFM (Computer Aided Facility Management) market. These solutions address companies active in the construction, real-estate, Building Services and Facility Management fields. They ensure proper planning and management of spaces, in terms of financial and administrative point of view, as well as an efficient contract and invoice management.
 
The company also concluded two strategic partnerships. Thus, starting with July, all Charisma products will be integrating Tableau Software’s technology, the world’s leader in data analysis and display. Moreover, the Eficientizare.ro partnership will enable TotalSoft to include in its solution Charisma Fleet Management, a GPS tracking component.
 
TotalSoft manages thus to maintain the estimates projected for 2011, namely achieving a consolidated turnover of 25 million euro and increasing the EBITDA level to 4.5 million euro.
