TotalSoft, the ERP market leader in Romania, has signed a contract with Electroputere Craiova, according to which it is due to provide a complex software platform, with business management components specific for an electrical equipment manufacturer, financial analysis and reporting tools, as well as performance indicators tracking tools.
The contract was signed late last month, following a competitive auction attended by many local ERP suppliers, and aims to replace an internally developed application with a strong software platform that would enable an integrated management of all manufacturing activities, profitability of contracts, human resources and financial indicators analysis.
Charisma ERP, together with TotalSoft’s know-how acquired in 40 projects undertaken in the manufacturing industry, will provide relevant information and support internal processes that Electroputere is planning in order to achieve future business objectives.
Electroputere, founded in 1949, has as main activity the manufacturing of electrical equipment for energy and rail transport and reached in 2010 a turnover of about 68 million euros. The company was privatized in November 2007, and now the majority of shares are owned by the Saudi company Al-Arrab Contracting Company Limited.
