Bucharest, 10th of August, 2010

TotalSoft, one of the largest regional software producers, announces a 10.4 million EUR turnover for the first half of 2010, out of which EBITDA is worth 1.66 million EUR. Thus, under the financial crisis conditions faced by Romania, which have affected the IT&C market also, TotalSoft obtained a 15% increase in turnover compared to last year’s same period.

TotalSoft’s revenue in the first half was 50% generated by Charisma Business Suite sales, the rest being generated by other business lines included in TotalSoft’s portfolio. The most spectacular evolution of the semester was achieved by the project management division, which has obtained from Primavera system sales and afferent services, a figure equal to that undertaken by the division throughout 2009.

Early 2010 has been marked by the opening of two new TotalSoft office sites, in Bulgaria and Greece. Also, the company has moved into a modern, first class office while its products have entered new international markets in Austria, Ukraine and Saudi Arabia.

“TotalSoft’s performance during this semester has made us believe that the objects agreed on will be achieved by the end of the year, with a turnover exceeding 20 million EUR. TotalSoft is, indeed, among those very few Romanian software companies that have achieved significant profitability in 2009 - a situation that we intend to repeat this year.” stated Liviu Drăgan, General Manager at TotalSoft.

The growth in turnover was generated as before, by the company’s large client portfolio, project expansion at regional level and strategy adaption to the new market conditions and product, facility and service development.

The financial crisis has forced TotalSoft to face new challenges in terms of products and services. Thus, the company released new versions of products this period, with features designed to combat the effects of the crisis. Among these versions, the following can be distinguished: the Charisma Collection system, enriched with a remarketing module, designed specifically for the resale of goods recovered from clients that are unable to pay, the Charisma Medical Software, which offers now features such as on line appointments and analysis outcome consultation, the e-procurement platform Charisma Cost Control, designed for the procurement processes optimization, the Charisma Analyzer solution, which is the first business intelligence solution available on iPad devices. Moreover, TotalSoft has launched on the local market business analysis training courses according to international methodologies.

Among the major customers who have joined TotalSoft’s portfolio in this year, the following can be distinguished: MIC.RO, NLB Leasing Serbia, Henkel Romania, Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company in Saudi Arabia, Austria Deutsche Leasing, Anima Specialty Medical Services (A&D Pharma medical clinics network).
