“The old application provided no such reports, except for the payroll one, the supplier did not give us support in case of legislative changes, and we used to face a large number of errors. To obtain various reports we had separate excel sheets with the information needed, and continually updated it and thus, losing a lot of time. Moreover, the wage calculation for about 100 employees took at least 2 days requiring multiple checks to correct errors that were quite frequent.

Having worked for over 7 years in human resources, even if not in the area of personnel administration and payroll, the human resources director of Euroweb had enough information regarding the existing applications on the market, as well as the benefits or problems one could encounter after its deployment. The decision to purchase Charisma HCM was influenced by many factors including the extensive experience in developing and implementation owned by TotalSoft for this application, and on the other hand references from companies that have already implemented the solution. The recommendation of a good friend who also worked in human resources and used Charisma HCM was also an important consideration.
“Based on the company’s and human resources department’s needs at the time, we found it necessary to purchase more Charisma HCM modules (personnel administration, payroll calculation, recruitment, assessment and training). We had no particular requirements, except for the integration with SAP, the ERP software that was being implemented in the company.” States Mrs. Neculae.
Charisma HCM implementation took about one month, the small problems encountered were represented by the incompatibility between the old application and the calculation method used Charisma, the problems being addressed quickly enough.
The first live work month was March 2008, data for January and February being fewer, there have been manually created some tables, avoiding thus, import regulations which would have lasted longer. The payroll was checked after entering the information and all the uncertainties were solved.
The benefits obtained by using Charisma HCM, says Ms. Neculae, can be divided into two categories: those related to personnel administration and payroll calculation – “Now I have much more freedom and support from the application in operating in a much shorter time”, as well as those related to reporting “Management can be delivered any type of report within 10 minutes, taking into account the time needed for formatting. If we take into consideration that time is money, then we won a long time ago. In addition, the reports generated by the application helped us to identify certain problems whose solution has led to financial gain”.
